How our car valuation works
1. Tell us about the car
Make, model, first registration and mileage — that is all the instant range needs.
2. See the market range
We match it against similar cars listed across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other Emirates.
3. Get the detailed valuation
Add a few details and your e-mail address, and we send you a valuation for your exact car.
What affects your car's value
- Mileage and model year — the two biggest factors.
- GCC specifications: cars built for the region usually hold their value better than imports.
- Accident history and a full service record, ideally at the dealer.
- Remaining manufacturer warranty or service contract.
- Number of previous owners, colour and optional extras.

Car valuation FAQ
How does the free car valuation work?
We compare your car with similar cars listed on LicensePlate.ae right now — same make and model, within two model years and with similar mileage — and show the middle range of their asking prices.
Is the car valuation really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no account and no obligation. You only leave your e-mail address if you want the detailed valuation sent to you.
How accurate is the valuation?
It reflects what owners are asking for comparable cars today, not final sale prices. Condition, service history, GCC specifications and accident history can move the real price up or down, so treat it as a well-founded starting point.
Why is there no instant figure for my car?
An instant range appears only when enough comparable cars are listed. For rarer cars our team prepares the valuation and sends it to you by e-mail.
What affects a car's value in the UAE?
Mostly mileage and model year, then GCC specifications versus imported cars, accident and service history, the number of previous owners, remaining warranty and colour.
What can I do with my valuation?
Use it to set a realistic asking price, to compare offers from dealers and buyers, or to decide whether to keep the car for another year.
