What a used electric car costs depends above all on the make and model, then on the model year, the battery and the mileage. The tables below show the current asking prices from the adverts listed.
This guide covers the electric models listed, the price by year, budgets, what to check on a used electric car — the battery above all — charging in the UAE, and GCC against imported cars.

Each year mixes small city cars with luxury saloons and SUVs, so the range is wide. The model table above is the better guide to what a particular car costs.
Under AED 50,000 AED 50,000 – 100,000 AED 100,000 – 200,000 Over AED 200,000
The battery's health. The battery is the most expensive part of an electric car. Ask for a battery health report (state of health) — a dealer for the brand can read it from the car — and compare the range shown on a full charge with the range the car had when new.
The battery warranty. Many manufacturers give the battery its own warranty, separate from the car's and often longer. Ask for its end date, its mileage limit and whether it passes to you with the car.
Charging equipment and the charging port. Check that the charging cable and any portable charger come with the car, and try a charge if you can. Cars built for the Chinese market may use the GB/T connector rather than the CCS2 and Type 2 connectors used at most chargers in the UAE.
The underside. The battery sits under the floor. Look for scrapes, dents or repairs under the car, and ask for the accident history with the VIN.
Software and the app. Electric cars rely on their software. Check that the screen, the navigation and the phone app work in English or Arabic, and ask whether the car still receives updates in the UAE.
Tyres and brakes. Electric cars are heavy, which wears the tyres; check their age and even wear. The brakes are used less than on a petrol car, so look for rust on the discs.
The air conditioning. Run it at full for ten minutes with the car standing; the battery also needs cooling in summer.
The transfer. Confirm the car carries no outstanding finance, and pay when it is registered in your name — never a deposit in advance.
Public chargers are run by several operators across the emirates, among them DEWA's EV Green Charger network in Dubai, at malls, petrol stations and car parks. At home, a wall charger is installed by an approved contractor; in a villa or a building, check with the landlord or the building management first.
A GCC electric car was sold by the brand's dealer here, with its battery cooling, connector and software set up for the region, and its warranty is honoured locally. An imported one — often from China or the United States — may differ in connector, language, app and warranty cover. Ask what the dealer here will service and run the VIN through a history report before you pay.
It depends above all on the make and model, then on the year, the battery and the mileage. The tables on this page show the current asking prices by model and by model year.
It can be, if the battery is healthy and its warranty is known. Ask for a battery health report, the battery warranty's end date and the service history before you decide.
Ask a dealer for the brand to read the battery's state of health from the car, and compare the range on a full charge with the range the car had when new.
Yes, with a wall charger installed by an approved contractor. In a rented villa or an apartment building, check with the landlord or the building management first.
A GCC car was sold by the local dealer and set up for the region, and its warranty is honoured here. An imported one may differ in charging connector, language, app and warranty cover.
